St. Louis Park Public Schools

St. Louis Park Public Schools, ISD 283, serves 4,590 students. The district administers four elementary schools, one middle school and one high school.

St. Louis Park Elementary Schools

  • Aquila Elementary. This school is located in the Aquila Park neighborhood, at 8500 West 31st Street. It serves 478 students in grades K through 5. Parents laud the outstanding teachers and the school’s supportive atmosphere.
  • Park Spanish Immersion. Park is located at 6300 Walker Street in St. Louis Park’s Sorenson neighborhood. School ratings site GreatSchools.org awards the school with nine out of 10 stars. Park Spanish Immersion serves 515 students in grades K through 5.
  • Peter Hobart. Located at 6500 West 26th Street in St. Louis Park’s Bronx Park neighborhood, Peter Hobart Elementary serves 553 students in grades K through 5. Parents consider the school’s teachers to be “top notch.”
  • Susan Lindgren. This school serves 501 students in grades K through 5. Parents of Susan Lindgren students appreciate the professionalism of the school’s staff. Susan Lindgren Elementary School is located in the Minikahda Vista neighborhood at 4801 West 41st Street.

The International Baccalaureat Primary Years Programme is offered at Peter Hobart, Susan Lindgren and Aquila.

St. Louis Park’s only middle school -- St. Louis Park Middle School – serves students in grades 6 through 8. You’ll find the middle school in the Willow Park neighborhood at 2025 Texas Avenue South.

St. Louis Park Senior High School is considered among the top schools in Minnesota and comes in at number 7 on the 2014 U.S. News Best High Schools in Minnesota rankings. Sixty three percent of St. Louis Park High School’s students participate in Advanced Placement® course work and exams.

The high school is located in the Lenox neighborhood, at 6425 West 33rd Street.

The district also offers childcare, from preschool through elementary grades.
