Newcomers to St. Louis Park frequently ask the Kris Lindahl Team to name the best neighborhood. This is an impossible question to answer without knowing more about what someone is looking for in a new neighborhood. What is ideal to one may be a nightmare to another.

We think Minikahda Vista offers something for everyone, though, which is why we’ve decided to feature it this month here on

If golf is your passion, Minikahda Vista is your new neighborhood, built around the Minikahda Club Golf Course. This is the oldest country club west of the Mississippi and it offers members full service, year-round, with dining, social and sports activities.

You’ll find the Minikahda Vista neighborhood north of Morningside Road and south of Excelsior Boulevard, between Wooddale Avenue and the City of Edina.

Minikahda Vista Conveniences

Living in the Minikahda Vista neighborhood means never having to travel far to shop for the items you use the most. Trader Joes, Target and other large retailers are located here. The Miracle Mile Shopping Center serves the neighborhood’s residents.

Parents of school-age children may end up sending their kids to Susan Lindgren Elementary, the pride of the neighborhood.

Minikahda Vista Recreation

Aside from the aforementioned golf club, the neighborhood is home to Minikahda Vista Park where you can let the little ones play on the playground or use the soccer and ball fields and basketball courts.
