If you’re looking at homes for sale in St. Louis Park and you’re on a tight budget, have we got some deals for you! Two listings stand out this week as ideal for first-time homebuyers or, as mentioned, those on a tight budget.
With prices like these, it doesn’t make sense to rent – it’s definitely cheaper to buy. This month there are two Deals of the Month – we couldn’t decide which one was better.
Built in 1972, the Bridgewalk condo community in St. Louis Park has a lot to offer. The 91-unit community features park-like landscaping, an indoor pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, exercise room, racquetball court, game room, car wash and underground parking.
Bridgewalk is also ideally located, less than 10 minutes to downtown, West End and Ridgedale.
The deal this month at Bridgewalk features 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom in 808 square feet of living space. The home has been completely remodeled with granite countertops and new appliances and cabinets in the kitchen, new lighting, new carpet, tile and closet doors and new trim.
Now, if we tour this home I need to warn you: the wall colors are a bit odd. But, as I always tell my clients, it’s only paint, so don’t let the colors dissuade you. As well, the furniture is dated, so you’ll need to look beyond that as well. But, for $86,900, we felt this is the best deal of the month in St. Louis Park.
The 240-unit Sunset Ridge condominium community was built in 1981 and underwent renovations to the exterior in 2010, including the installation of new windows, doors and 50-year siding.
The community offers three pools, five miles of sidewalks and an ideal location within a three-minute drive to the Shops at West End and Costco.
This deal of the month is a top-floor corner unit with vaulted ceilings and two decks. It has fresh carpet and paint, a brick fireplace and an in-unit laundry. The south-facing windows offer lots of sunshine in the oversized living room
This 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom home with 725 square feet of living space is priced at $89,900.
